Returns & refunds

Every length we send is cut by hand from the roll for your order alone. Once a piece is cut it cannot go back on the shelf — so our returns are deliberately narrow, and we would rather be honest about that up front than surprise you later.

What we will always take back

  • ✓
    A manufacturing defect — a flaw in the weave, a printing fault, a colour run. Full refund or a replacement length, whichever you prefer.
  • ✓
    The wrong item shipped — if we sent the wrong fabric or the wrong length, that is our mistake. We cover the courier both ways.
  • ✓
    Damage in transit — if the parcel arrives torn, wet or stained, send us photos before opening further and we will resolve it.

What we cannot take back

  • ✗
    Fabric cut correctly to your order. A cut length cannot be resold, so a change of mind after cutting is not something we can accept.
  • ✗
    Fabric already washed, cut further, or stitched. Once work has started on it we have no way to assess or resell it.
  • ✗
    Small shade variation between your screen and the cloth. Screens differ, and hand-loomed fabric varies slightly between batches. This is why we offer swatches — see below.

How long you have

Please tell us within 7 days of delivery. Message us on WhatsApp with your order number and clear photos of the problem — daylight helps. The sooner you send the photos, the faster we can settle it.

How to raise it

  1. WhatsApp +91 81244 40211 with your order number.
  2. Send photos of the fabric and, if the parcel was damaged, of the packaging too.
  3. We will confirm within one working day and arrange a pickup or a replacement.
  4. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method.

Not sure about a fabric? Order a swatch first

We will send you a swatch for ₹50, refunded when you buy the fabric. You get to judge the weight, the drape and the true colour in your own light before committing to metres. For anything expensive, this is the sensible way to buy — and you are always welcome to come and feel it at the studio instead.
