Soft Net

Soft net is the base most festive embroidery sits on. It is light enough to layer without adding bulk, and sheer enough that whatever is worked onto it appears to float.

Ours run from plain net to heavily embroidered pieces, ₹475 a metre upward. Because net is see-through, most people pair it with a lining — bring the lining fabric with you and check the two together in daylight.
